Songwriter: Mick Jagger Keith Richards

Yeah...

Well, I'm talkin' about the midnight rambler
Everybody got to go

Whoo!

I'm talkin' about the midnight rambler
And everybody got to go
Well, I'm talkin' about the midnight gambler
The one you never seen before
Sighin' down the wind so sadly
Listen and you'll hear me moan
Well, I'm talkin' about the midnight gambler
Everybody got to go

Well, I'm talkin' about the midnight gambler
The one you never seen before
Well, I'm talkin' about the midnight rambler
Did you see me jump the garden wall?
Sighin' down the wind so sadly
Listen and you'll hear me moan
Well, I'm talkin' about the midnight rambler
Everybody got to go

I'm talkin' about the midnight gambler
Yeah, well, honey, it's no rock 'n' roll show
Well, I'm talkin' about the midnight rambler
Everybody got to go

[Harmonica solo]

Woo!
Man, that's all right
Gonna shake 'em on down

Yeah

Woo!

Ooo yeah
Ooo yeah
Ooo baby
Ooo baby
Ooo baby
Ooo baby
Ooo baby...

Go down on me, baby
Go down on me, baby
Go down on me, baby
All right
Yeah
Ooo yeah
Oooo yeah
Ooo yeah
That's all right
I'm screamin', ooohh...
I'm cryin'
Oooh, ooo baby
Cryin', ooh baby
Uuhh...ow!

Oo, I said..

Well, you heard about the Boston…
Honey, it’s not one of those…
Well, I'm just talkin' 'bout the midnight...
Did you see me shut the bedroom door?
I'm called the hit-and-run raper in anger
Or just the knife-sharpened tippie-toe
Or just the shoot 'em dead, brainbell jangler
Everybody got to go, woo!
And if you listen for the midnight rambler
Yeah, easy, easy as you go
I'm gonna smash down your plate-glass window
Put my fist through your steel-plate door
Yeah, if you ever catch the midnight rambler
And he's coming down your marble hall
And he pounces like a proud black panther
Now, you can say I, I told you so
Wooo!

Hey, that's all right
Woo...

Yeah

Well, I'm talkin' about the midnight rambler
Yeah, the one you never seen before
Yeah, I'm talkin' about the midnight gambler
Did you see me jump the garden wall?
And if you ever catch the midnight rambler
I'll steal from under your nose
I'll go easy with your cold fanged anger
I'll stick my knife right down your throat, woo!

Woo!
Thank you

The Rolling Stones

Formed in London in 1962, The Rolling Stones led the “British Invasion” along with The Beatles and were so successful their influence can be seen in arguably every rock ‘n’ roll band that followed.

Three of the current members have been there since the band’s singer Mick Jagger and guitarist Keith Richards, who write the majority of the band’s catalogue and also produced some albums as The Glimmer Twins; and drummer Charlie Watts. The fourth official member is guitarist Ronnie Wood, who has been there since 1975 (the keyboardist and bassist who play in studio and live are usually not listed). The Stones have released more than 20 studio albums, and even as age caught up on them, continued to be a huge attraction on the live circuit, with big stadium tours continuing through the 1990s, 2000s and into the 2010s.
