[Intro]
Did she make your heart beat faster than I could ?
Did she give you what you hoped for?
Oh, nights...

[Chorus]
Yeah, don't get me wrong babe I don't want ya back
But, nobody else can give you what we had
You know it's real cause I can guarantee
You ain't gon' ever meet another me
Another me, another me, yeah
You ain't gon ever meet another me
Another me, another me, another me, oh, oh, oh

[Verse 1]
I was tied around your finger 'fore you let me go
You say you a real nigga? Why you do me so cold?
Ride for you forever, you left me all alone
Guess that you ain't notice what you got until it's gone
And when you on that liquor, you admitted that
I'm all you ever wanted and the best you ever had
Well, you shoulda seen it quicker, you missed your only chance
Now you crawling right back like, damn

[Bridge]
(Honey, honey) Is that the way you feel?
(Baby, baby) Is that the way you feel now?
(Love me, love me) Is that the way you feel?
I turned you down flat, you got a new girl like that
(Honey, honey) So that's the way you feel?
(Baby, baby) Oh yeah, I bet ya feel good
(Love me, love me) Is that the way you feel?
You can keep on tryin', I think you need reminding, baby

[Chorus]
Yeah, don't get me wrong babe I don't want ya back
But, nobody else can give you what we had
You know it's real cause I can guarantee
You ain't gon' ever meet another me
Another me, another me, yeah
You ain't gon ever meet another me
Another me, another me, another me, oh, oh, oh

[Verse 2]
Go on and admit it, no one can compare
Sexy little figure with a curl in my hair
And I would never wander baby, I was faithful
And every night you wanted, I would do you like a pro
I ain't trippin', better off now anyway
Karma seems to echo everything you used to say
None of these basic hoes got nothin' on me
And you know it baby

[Chorus]
Yeah, don't get me wrong babe I don't want ya back
But, nobody else can give you what we had
You know it's real cause I can guarantee
You ain't gon' ever meet another me
Another me, another me, yeah
You ain't gon ever meet another me
Another me, another me, another me, oh, oh, oh

[Breakdown]
(Ye-ea-ea-eahhh, ooh-woah, ooh-woah)
And my tears became a stream
Was drowning endlessly
Oxygen within me, I can breathe
And I betcha fucking miss it
How I used to kiss it
Break us down, hold you tight
Hope you keep my hips wet
A lesson falls upon my mind, baby

[Outro]
(Shut shit down)
Time moves extra fast
(Shut shit down)
When your mind cannot relax
(Shut shit down)
Looking through a tinted glass…

Tinashe

Tinashe Jorgenson Kachingwe, known mononymously as Tinashe, is an American singer-songwriter, actress, dancer, and former model born in Lexington, Kentucky and raised in Los Angeles, California.

Born on February 6, 1993, her rise to fame began with her acting on shows such as Two and a Half Men. Initially making her debut in the music industry via the short-lived girl group The Stunners—which also featured Hayley Kiyoko—she garnered attention from online music blogs with her 2012 mixtape, In Case We Die. Signing with RCA Records shortly after, she released two further mixtapes later that year and in 2013: Reverie and Black Water respectively. “2 On” was released in January 2014 as the lead single from her debut album, Aquarius, and remains her biggest solo single to date. Released in October that year, the album was praised by critics for its merging of old-school R&B sounds and fresh 2010s trends. The follow-up was subjected to much-criticised although “Player” was billed as the collection’s lead single as early as October 2015, songs released from the project failed to reach the label’s expectations, resulting in the release of an album’s worth of outtakes from the album, Nightride, in November 2016. Joyride was finally released on April 13: it features the singles “No Drama”, “Faded Love” and “Me So Bad”.

On February 18, 2019, Tinashe parted ways with her longtime record label RCA. By November that year, she inked a new management deal with Roc Nation and self-released Songs for You, her fourth studio album.
