[Intro]
You're the prince of...
Built a castle

[Chorus]
Yeah, you're the prince of my heart
And now there ain't no way they gon' keep us apart, keep us apart
Yeah, we built a castle of trust
And I'm your queen to be
Now the story of us about to start
Yeah, you're the prince of my heart
And now there ain't no way they gon' keep us apart, keep us apart
Yeah, we built a castle of trust
And I'm your queen to be
Now the story of us about to start

[Verse 1]
Once upon a time you're mine
Once upon a time we start to fall in love
Laid up with you every night
Wish upon a star it ain't too good to be true

[Pre-Chorus]
Waitin' on something
What you waitin' on, waitin' on? Yeah
Life's too short, baby, gotta take control of what you want, yeah
I'm gonna make you my own happy ever after

[Chorus]
Yeah, you're the prince of my heart (Prince of my heart)
And now there ain't no way they gon' keep us apart, keep us apart
Yeah, we built a castle of trust
And I'm your queen to be
Now the story of us about to start
Yeah, you're the prince of my heart
And now there ain't no way they gon' keep us apart, keep us apart
Yeah, we built a castle of trust
And I'm your queen to be
Now the story of us about to start

[Verse 2]
No, you never felt this way
Thought you been in love before
But it wasn't love love like this
And you never ever gonna need your space
Who would want space from something
That feel so damn good? Don't it?

[Pre-Chorus]
Ooh woah, ooh woah
Fly me out to Boston, Ritz-Carlton
It's getting later, we're getting louder
Fuckin' on the bathroom counter

[Chorus]
Yeah, you're the prince of my heart
And now there ain't no way they gon' keep us apart, keep us apart
Yeah, we built a castle of trust
And I'm your queen to be
Now the story of us about to start
Yeah, you're the prince of my heart
And now there ain't no way they gon' keep us apart, keep us apart
Yeah, we built a castle of trust
And I'm your queen to be
Now the story of us about to start

[Outro]
You're the prince of...
Built a castle

Tinashe

Tinashe Jorgenson Kachingwe, known mononymously as Tinashe, is an American singer-songwriter, actress, dancer, and former model born in Lexington, Kentucky and raised in Los Angeles, California.

Born on February 6, 1993, her rise to fame began with her acting on shows such as Two and a Half Men. Initially making her debut in the music industry via the short-lived girl group The Stunners—which also featured Hayley Kiyoko—she garnered attention from online music blogs with her 2012 mixtape, In Case We Die. Signing with RCA Records shortly after, she released two further mixtapes later that year and in 2013: Reverie and Black Water respectively. “2 On” was released in January 2014 as the lead single from her debut album, Aquarius, and remains her biggest solo single to date. Released in October that year, the album was praised by critics for its merging of old-school R&B sounds and fresh 2010s trends. The follow-up was subjected to much-criticised although “Player” was billed as the collection’s lead single as early as October 2015, songs released from the project failed to reach the label’s expectations, resulting in the release of an album’s worth of outtakes from the album, Nightride, in November 2016. Joyride was finally released on April 13: it features the singles “No Drama”, “Faded Love” and “Me So Bad”.

On February 18, 2019, Tinashe parted ways with her longtime record label RCA. By November that year, she inked a new management deal with Roc Nation and self-released Songs for You, her fourth studio album.
