[Verse 1]
Jenny's father was a working man
He worked hard to be his best
In the middle of the afternoon
He would give little Jenny a kiss

[Chorus]
Somewhere under Heaven
In the eye of a hurricane
Little Jenny would dance in the rain

[Verse 2]
In the afternoon thunderstorms
The Sun's shadow's movin' slow
She could smell the earth and sky
And off her mind would go

[Chorus]
Somewhere under Heaven
In a field of sugarcane
Little Jenny would dance in the rain

[Instrumental Break]

[Verse 3]
One day you're gonna fall in love
One day you're gonna pay the rent
Hold on to what love you find
You're gonna need all you can get

[Chorus]
Somewhere under Heaven
In the eye of a hurricane
Little Jenny would dance in the rain

[Outro]
Somewhere under Heaven
Somewhere under Heaven
