I thought I met a good man whose name I won't discuss
He sold me a dream that we were really in love
But I heard on the street that you've stepped out on me
I'ma walk out that door, takin' everything with me
Give it to me back

[Chorus: Tamar]
Give it back, give it back, give it back
(Give my uh-uh back)
Give it back, give it back, give it back
(Give my uh-uh back)
Give it back, give it back, give it back
(Give my uh-uh back)
Give it back, give it back, give it back
(Give my uh-uh back)

[Verse 2: Baby]
Hey, startin' up, baby
Ride a brand new Mercedes, baby
Mm, pimpin' ain't crazy
Mm, ask Toni, baby
Mm, me and Manny, baby
Rock till I make it a boost, baby
Mm, you want your ****, baby
Get it later, I'll holla back, baby (Holla)

[Verse 3: Toni]
You say you want your car back and the keys to your house
But there's one thing I want before I get the hell out
No recalls, no coupons, I want my refund
I'm sorry I met you 'cause boy, you're not the one
Give it to me back

[Chorus: Tamar]
Give it back, give it back, give it back
(Give my uh-uh back)
Give it back, give it back, give it back
(Give my uh-uh back)
Give it back, give it back, give it back
(Give my uh-uh back)
Give it back, give it back, give it back
(Give my uh-uh back)

[Bridge: Toni / (Tamar)]
I heard it (Heard it on the street)
You were steppin' out on me
(No coupons, no recalls)
No recalls, I want my refund, yeah-yeah yeah yeah, yeah

[Verse 4: Mannie]
Uh, uh, ladies and gentlemen
Daddy got a new thing
Bless her with a diamond ring
Keep her neck like bling a ling a ling a ling
You can go 'head, vacate
This was just a big mistake
Tell your lawyer call my lawyer
He will tell you what to take
Phone numbers will change, attitude real strange
Used to eat big steaks, but now you eatin' chicken wings
Sometimes I be flippin', don't know what I be sayin'
Call your lawyer back baby, I was just playin'
(Give my uh-uh back)

[Chorus: Tamar]
Give it back, give it back, give it back
(Give my uh-uh back)
Give it back, give it back, give it back
(Give my uh-uh back)
Give it back, give it back, give it back
(Give my uh-uh back)
Give it back, give it back, give it back
(Give my uh-uh back)

[Outro: Mannie / (Tamar)]
Well, you know, I like you then
I ain't gon' lie, I like you in a big way
(Give my uh-uh back)
Let's just say it's like fifty, no not quite fifty
(Give my uh-uh back)
Let's say like 47.9 percent
That's, you know, that's not my way to love
(Give my uh-uh back)
You just hang in there, baby
Keep your head up
(Give my uh-uh back)
And one day, I will love you
Until then, take your uh-uh back
You heard, ha!

Toni Braxton (born on October 7, 1967) is an American singer-songwriter, pianist, record producer, actress, and philanthropist, and has been active since 1989. She is best known for her single “Unbreak My Heart” and her second album Secrets. Braxton was discovered early by William E. Pettaway Jr., who helped her launch her career.

Braxton first started performing with her four sisters in a family band titled “The Braxtons” in the late 1980s, successfully attracting the attention of Antonio “L.A.” Reid and Kenneth “Babyface” Edmonds, who were co-artists Braxton’s songs, including her signature song, Un-Break My Heart.

L.A. Reid and Babyface brought Braxton in as a substitution and had her record a demo of “Love Shoulda Brought You Home”. The song made it onto the soundtrack of the movie Boomerang, giving her early success and recognition. Braxton started recording her solo debut album at LaFace Records on July 13, 1993, quickly gaining popularity as it peaked at number one on the U.S. Billboard 200 Albums Chart. Braxton’s debut album has won her several awards, including three Grammy Awards. Her debut album also won her two American Music Awards.
