[Verse 1]
You know I love you, but your love is so terrifying
Timing really is a bitch
Who'd have thought that stars would so perfectly align again
Double, change and for a switch?

[Pre-Chorus]
And I don't wanna leave
But if I have to make my way
You are everything
But I don't think I can stay

[Chorus]
All alone on a Saturday night in a city screaming loud outside
And you know what I wanna do
I know you're wrong for me
But I don't care, 'cause I just wanna do
Bad things to you tonight (Ooh, ooh)
Tonight (Ooh, ooh, ooh)

[Verse 2]
You and I are like a crazy stupid raging fire
On the line and set to flames
You call me crazy, baby, but you're just a goddamn liar
But I swear it feels so safe
And I don't wanna to leave
But if I have to make my way
You are everything
But I don't think I can stay

[Chorus]
All alone on a Saturday night in a city screaming loud outside
And you know what I wanna do
I know you're wrong for me
But I don't care, 'cause I just wanna do
Bad things to you tonight (Ooh, ooh)
Tonight (Ooh, ooh)

[Bridge]
I scream I hate you, you scream you hate me
But I love, but I love you, hey
And like we're seventeen again, we know this love will never end
But I can't go on

[Chorus]
Alone on a Saturday night in a city screaming loud outside
And you know what I wanna do
I know you're wrong for me
But I don't care, 'cause I just wanna do
Bad things to you tonight
Yeah, yeah, oh, tonight
Oh, oh, oh, oh tonight
Yeah, damn, it's Saturday night

Toni Braxton

Toni Braxton (born on October 7, 1967) is an American singer-songwriter, pianist, record producer, actress, and philanthropist, and has been active since 1989. She is best known for her single “Unbreak My Heart” and her second album Secrets. Braxton was discovered early by William E. Pettaway Jr., who helped her launch her career.

Braxton first started performing with her four sisters in a family band titled “The Braxtons” in the late 1980s, successfully attracting the attention of Antonio “L.A.” Reid and Kenneth “Babyface” Edmonds, who were co-artists Braxton’s songs, including her signature song, Un-Break My Heart.

L.A. Reid and Babyface brought Braxton in as a substitution and had her record a demo of “Love Shoulda Brought You Home”. The song made it onto the soundtrack of the movie Boomerang, giving her early success and recognition. Braxton started recording her solo debut album at LaFace Records on July 13, 1993, quickly gaining popularity as it peaked at number one on the U.S. Billboard 200 Albums Chart. Braxton’s debut album has won her several awards, including three Grammy Awards. Her debut album also won her two American Music Awards.
