[Verse 1]
I know that it's over
But I still reminisce
'Bout the very first time that I saw you
And the first time that we kissed
I still recall the days of good old love we made
Without taking off our clothes
You spoke a language to my body, baby
So universal, you and me talkin', baby

[Chorus]
Oh I (yeah yeah), oh my
Oh la, la la la
Talk to me, baby
La la (you know that), la la
Speaking in tongues, babe, with you
Oh-oh

[Verse 2]
Maybe we could exchange
A little conversation, yeah
315-37,69 - call me, boy, anytime
Don't need no caller ID, 'cause I won't have anybody
Interrupting our call
Talk dirty to me, baby
Without talking at all
You got me singin', baby

[Chorus]
Oh I (ooh yeah), oh my (oh my my)
Oh la, la la la
Talk to me, baby, babe
La la (ooh yeah), la la
Speaking in tongues, babe, with you
Oh-oh, whoa

[Bridge]
How do we play pretend?
How do we do not sin
And be together, making love forever?
Then I will fantasize
Make you up in my mind
And intimately, I will cry

[Chorus]
Hoo, hoo, hoo (Oh I, oh my)
Speaking in tongues, babe, with you (Oh la, la la la)
Hoo-hoo, talk to me, baby
Drive a girl crazy tonight (La la, la la)
Speaking in tongues, babe, with you
Oh-whoa-ooh, yeah
Oh I, oh my (my)
Speaking in tongues, babe, with you (Oh la, la la la)
Talk to me, talk to me, baby
Talk to me, sugar, yeah (La la, la la)
Speaking in tongues, babe, with you
Whoa-oh
Oh I (oh), oh my (my)
Speaking in tongues, babe, with you (Oh la, la la la)
Boy
La la, la la (oh yeah)
Speaking in tongues, babe, with you
Oh-oh, whoa
Ooh

Toni Braxton

Toni Braxton (born on October 7, 1967) is an American singer-songwriter, pianist, record producer, actress, and philanthropist, and has been active since 1989. She is best known for her single “Unbreak My Heart” and her second album Secrets. Braxton was discovered early by William E. Pettaway Jr., who helped her launch her career.

Braxton first started performing with her four sisters in a family band titled “The Braxtons” in the late 1980s, successfully attracting the attention of Antonio “L.A.” Reid and Kenneth “Babyface” Edmonds, who were co-artists Braxton’s songs, including her signature song, Un-Break My Heart.

L.A. Reid and Babyface brought Braxton in as a substitution and had her record a demo of “Love Shoulda Brought You Home”. The song made it onto the soundtrack of the movie Boomerang, giving her early success and recognition. Braxton started recording her solo debut album at LaFace Records on July 13, 1993, quickly gaining popularity as it peaked at number one on the U.S. Billboard 200 Albums Chart. Braxton’s debut album has won her several awards, including three Grammy Awards. Her debut album also won her two American Music Awards.
