How you feeling?
You fighting a di dance, yeah
From England to New Zealand, yeah
Okay

I know we'd had a long day today
But let's leave all that stress behind
Who cares what they say
Come grab our friend, we're gonna rock it tonight

People will play the games they play
But I promise everything will be alright
So let the mash up some roots reggae
Good vibes tonight, set the fire alive

'Cause it's a new day
Got my long rocking sway
Throw all our troubles away
Nothing but good vibes tonight, yeah

Yes, it's a new day
Got my long rocking sway
Throw all our troubles away
Nothing but good vibes tonight, yeah

I know that love is true
By the way you make feel
It's the simple things that you do
You make everything feel so real

And every time I'm feeling blue
You pick me up and make me feel so nice
All I want is to be with you
Then everything will be alright 'cause

'Cause it's a new day
Got my long rocking sway
Throw all our troubles away
Nothing but good vibes tonight, yeah

Yes, it's a new day
Got my long rocking sway
Throw all our troubles away
Nothing but good vibes tonight, yeah

'Cause when the time bows down to reality
We need more love and understanding in humanity
What's happening
Rumor Jah brought that gravy train full of vanity
Give me sanity

Nothing but good vibes with my family 'cause
There's no other places I would rather be
And there's no other faces I would rather see
Better be right here with you
Good vibes, tonight, come through

Yes, it's a new day
Got my long rocking sway
Throw all our troubles away
Nothing but good vibes tonight, yeah

Yes, it's a new day
Got my long rocking sway
Throw all our troubles away
Nothing but good vibes tonight, yeah

Yes, it's a new day
Got my long rocking sway
Throw all our troubles away
Nothing but good vibes tonight, yeah

UB40

UB40 are an English reggae and pop band, formed in December 1978 in Birmingham. The band has had more than 50 singles in the UK Singles Chart. They have been nominated for the Grammy Award for Best Reggae Album four times, and in 1984 were nominated for the Brit Award for Best British Group. UB40 have sold over 70 million records. The ethnic make-up of the band’s original line-up was diverse, with musicians of English, Irish, Jamaican, Scottish and Yemeni parentage.

Their hit singles include their debut “Food for Thought”, “Red Red Wine” and “Can’t Help Falling in Love”. Both of these also topped the UK Singles Chart, as did the band’s version of “I Got You Babe”. Their two most successful albums, Labour of Love (1983) and Promises and Lies (1993), reached number one on the UK Albums Chart.

On January 24, 2008, it was announced that Ali Campbell would be leaving the group after 30 years. It was reported by some Birmingham newspapers on 13 March 2008, that Maxi Priest would be the new lead singer of UB40 and had recorded a cover of Bob Marley’s “I Shot the Sheriff” with the band.
