[Intro]
Every day you gotta run for your life
Unless you like lookin' up at the ground
I'll be lucky in the summer time, not in the winter time
Winters are the worst if
You wanna wake up and live, listen and don't make a sound

[Hook]
Big fish don't get big by being stupid
(Hooks in the water)
Big fish don't get big by being dumb
(Dumb, dumb, dumb, dumb)
(Dumb, dumb, dumb, dumb)
(Hooks in the water)

[Verse 1]
All my life I been ignorant
But never innocent
Tough, lesser in it when
Out it go, how'd you know
This little powder doe
[?] Get so powerful
Yes
Never eat the flesh like Morrissey
Morally opposed to those who want war with me
Drop a couple stories on the chumps like Dorothy
And Dora The Explorer my thoughts
There's much more to me still
Don't question my will
I'll never be killed til' I've eaten my fill
No meat on my grill
But I'm meetin' my fate
I'm eating my weight
Watch me season my plate
I'm seizing these reigns
I'm reason my way, weigh easily
Ride around these fake I lay wheezily
Types, real zebras don't sneeze their stripes off
So pull up your hi-tops

[Hook]

[Verse 2]
Those barbs, those scars
On my cheek
I pick my moments to speak
I lay low so these beasts won't
Pick their teeth with my bones

The whole world's on the grind
The whole world stalls for time
You run and tend not to follow, tend not to fall in line
Now I wanna go travellin' with you
We could move like a javelin tip runnin' thru air
And instead of unravelling quick
Letting them rattle our [?], we'll be there
Now I'm livin' scared

[Hook]

[Spoken outro]
I love all animals
I love coral
I love squor-ral
I love a hot gorl (that's you!)
Cause I love the whole world

Watsky

A successful slam poet turned rapper, Watsky first gained attention through ‘Russell Simmons’ HBO Def Poetry,’ and a later burst of viral success for his fast rapping. At every turn, Watsky has refused to be pigeonholed, following up his speed rap success with 2013 LP Cardboard Castles, an eccentric ode to creativity, and 2014’s Anderson. Paak-produced All You Can Do. After a hiatus to work on new material, Watsky pivots again, this time to prose, returning simultaneously with the essay collection How To Ruin Everything, published by Plume/Penguin-Random House, of which Hamilton creator Lin-Manuel Miranda writes, “funny, subversive […] you find yourself nodding your head in wonder and recognition.” How To Ruin Everything debuted in the New York Times best-selling list. In total, he has created five studio albums and two live albums. Watsky released his fifth album, x INFINITY August 2016, describing it as his most ambitious project yet. Most recently, in January of 2019, he released a short album called Complaint.
