[Intro]
Do-do-do-doh
Oh, whoa, yeah
Do-do-do-do-do-doh

[Verse 1]
Every day I hear a different story
People sayin' that you’re no good for me
Saw your lover with another
And she’s making a fool of you, oh

If you love me baby, you'd deny it
But you laugh and tell me I should try it
Tell me I’m a baby, and I don't understand

[Pre-Chorus]
But you know that I’ll forgive you
Just this once, twice, forever!
‘Cause baby
You could drag me to hell and back
Just as long as we’re together, and you do

[Chorus]
I don’t want your freedom
I don’t want to play around
I don't want nobody, baby
Part-time-love just brings me down
I don’t need your freedom
Girl,, all I want right now is you

Do do do
Whoa oh oh yeah
Do do do do do do
Do do do do do do

[Verse 2]
Like a prisoner who has his own key
But I can't escape until you love me
I just go from day to day
Knowing all about the other boys

You take my hand and tell me I'm a fool
To give you all that I do
I bet you someday, baby
Someone says the same to you

[Pre-Chorus]
But you know that I'll forgive you
Just this once, twice, forever
'Cause baby
You could drag me to hell and back
Just as long as we're together
And you do, oh

[Chorus]
I don't want your freedom
I don't want to play around
I don't want nobody, baby
Part-time love just brings me down
I don't want your freedom
Girl, all I want right now is you

Do do do
(Can't you see you're hurting me)
Whoa oh oh yeah
Ahhhhhhh
Do do do do do do
Do do do do do do

You're hurting me baby
Hurting me baby

Oh
Do do do do do do
Do do do do do do
Do do do do do do
Do do do do do do
You're hurting me baby
Hurting me baby

[Pre-Chorus]
But you know that I'll forgive you
Just this once, twice, forever
'Cause baby
You could drag me to hell and back
Just as long as we're together
And you do, oh

[Chorus x2]
I don't want your freedom
I don't need to play around
I don’t want nobody, baby
Part-time love just brings me down
I don't want your freedom
I don't need to play around
I don't want nobody, baby
Part-time love just brings me down

[Outro]
I don't want your
(I don't want your)
I don't want your
(I don't want your)
I don't want your
(I don't want your)
I don't want your
(I don't want your)
Oh...

Wham!

Wham! were an English pop group, formed in 1981 by George Michael and Andrew Ridgeley. Despite how brief their career was, the duo had a lot of impact and George Michael went on to become a successful solo artist.

Their first moment in the limelight came in 1982 when they were picked to go on Top of the Pops, and performed the single “Young Guns (Go for It!)”. It was an overnight sensation and peaked at #3 in the UK charts, paving the way for further singles “Wham Rap! (Enjoy What You Do)”, “Bad Boys” and “Club Tropicana”. By the time they released their debut album Fantastic in 1983, Wham! had become one of Britain’s biggest pop acts. International recognition came with Make It Big in 1984, along with a string of hit singles — “Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go” entered the charts around the world at #1, as well as “Careless Whisper” (issued as George Michael solo piece), “Freedom” and “Last Christmas”, which made it to #2 after “Do They Know It’s Christmas?”, where George Michael also participated.

By 1986, George Michael wanted to distance himself from Wham! and launch a solo career, so a final greatest hits album The Final (marketed as Music from the Edge of Heaven in the US and Japan) was released. Farewell single “The Edge of Heaven” went to #1 in the UK and made it to the top 10 in America.
