Oh ha ha
Oh yeah

Somebody told me, boy
Everything she wants is everything she sees
I guess I must have loved you
Because I said you were the perfect girl for me
Baby

And now we're six months older
And everything you want and everything you see
Is out of reach
Not good enough
I don't know what the hell you want from me oh

Ah ha ha
Ah ha ha
Oh oh oh
Oh oh oh
Ah ha ha
Ah ha ha
Do do do
Da da da da da

Ah ha ha
Ah ha ha
Oh oh oh
Oh oh oh
Ah ha ha
Ah ha ha
Do do do
Da da da da da

Somebody tell me oh (won't you tell me)
Why I work so hard for you?
(Give you money)
(work to give you money ow.)

Some people work for a living
Some people work for fun
Girl I just work for you
They told me marriage was a give and take
Well you've shown me you can take
You've got some giving to do

And now you tell me that you're having my baby
I'll tell you that I'm happy if you want me to
But one step further and my back will break
If my best isn't good enough
Then how can it be good enough for two'

Ah ha ha
Ah ha ha
Oh oh oh
Oh oh oh
Ah ha ha
Ah ha ha
(I can't work any harder then I do)
Do do do
Da da da da da

Ah ha ha
Ah ha ha
Oh oh oh
Oh oh oh
Ah ha ha
Ah ha ha
Do do do
Da da da da da

Somebody tell me oh (won't you tell me)
Why I work so hard for you?
(Give you money)
(work to give you money ow.)

Oh
Why do I do the things I do?
I'd tell you if I knew
My God
I don't even think that I love you
(Won't you tell me?)
(Give you money)
(work to give you money.)

Oh yeah
Tell me (Tell me tell me tell me tell me)

How could you settle for a boy like me
When all I can see
Was the end of the week
All the things beside
And the things you buy
Ain't gonna keep us together

It's just a matter of time
My situation
Never changes
Walking in that mad that door
Like a stranger
Full of wages
I give you all you say you want and more

And all I could see
Was the end of the week
All the things beside
And the things we buy
Ain't gonna keep us together

Girl its just a matter of time

Da da da da da (just a matter of time)
Ah ha ha
Ah ha ha
Oh oh oh
Ah ha ha
Ah ha ha
Oh oh oh
Oh oh oh
Do do do
Da da da da da

Somebody tell me oh (won't you tell me)
Somebody
Why I work so hard for you?
(Give you money)
Oh to give you money ow

Somebody tell me oh ho (won't you tell me)
Why I work so hard for you?
(Give you money)
Oh to give you money

Da da da da da

Somebody tell me
Won't you tell me
Why I do the things that I do

Somebody tell me (oh)

Wham!

Wham! were an English pop group, formed in 1981 by George Michael and Andrew Ridgeley. Despite how brief their career was, the duo had a lot of impact and George Michael went on to become a successful solo artist.

Their first moment in the limelight came in 1982 when they were picked to go on Top of the Pops, and performed the single “Young Guns (Go for It!)”. It was an overnight sensation and peaked at #3 in the UK charts, paving the way for further singles “Wham Rap! (Enjoy What You Do)”, “Bad Boys” and “Club Tropicana”. By the time they released their debut album Fantastic in 1983, Wham! had become one of Britain’s biggest pop acts. International recognition came with Make It Big in 1984, along with a string of hit singles — “Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go” entered the charts around the world at #1, as well as “Careless Whisper” (issued as George Michael solo piece), “Freedom” and “Last Christmas”, which made it to #2 after “Do They Know It’s Christmas?”, where George Michael also participated.

By 1986, George Michael wanted to distance himself from Wham! and launch a solo career, so a final greatest hits album The Final (marketed as Music from the Edge of Heaven in the US and Japan) was released. Farewell single “The Edge of Heaven” went to #1 in the UK and made it to the top 10 in America.
