[Intro]
If I can't have you

[Verse 1]
If I can’t have you
I'll go out of my mind
If I can't have you by my side
I’d rather go blind
Do you remember
All the good times we had?
Baby, don't you leave me this way
Don't make me sad

[Pre-Chorus]
You're all that matters in the world to me
And one day, baby, I'm gonna make you see

[Chorus]
If I can't have you
I can't help myself
I want nobody else
If I can't have you
Baby, how I try
To keep you satisfied

[Verse 2]
If I can’t have you
My sun won’t shine
If I can't have you by my side
I’ll go out of my mind

[Pre-Chorus]
You're all that matters in the world to me
And one day, baby, I'm gonna make you see

[Chorus]
If I can't have you
I can’t help myself
I want nobody else
If I can't have you
Ooh, baby, how I try
To keep you satisfied
If I can't have you
I'm begging, please
Baby, down on my knees
I swear to you
My love is true

[Guitar solo]

[Verse 3]
If I can't have you
I'll go out of my mind
If I can't have you by my side
I would rather go blind
Baby, do you remember
All the good times we had?
Baby, don't you, leave me this way
Don't make me sad

[Pre-Chorus]
You're all that matters in the world to me
And one day, baby, I'm gonna make you see

[Chorus]
If I can't have you
I can't help myself
I want nobody else
If I can't have you
Baby, how I try
To keep you satisfied
If I can't have you
I'm begging, please
Baby, down on my knees
I swear to you
My love is true

[Outro]
If I can't have you

Whitesnake

Whitesnake are a rock band formed in England in 1978 by David Coverdale, after his departure from his previous band Deep Purple. Their early material has been compared by critics to the blues rock of Deep Purple, but they slowly began moving toward a more commercially accessible rock style. By the turn of the decade, the band’s commercial fortunes changed and they released a string of UK top 10 albums, Ready an' Willing (1980), Come an' Get It (1981), Saints & Sinners (1982) and Slide It In (1984), the last of which was their first to chart in the US and is certified 2x platinum.
