Another Bad Creation
Another Bad Creation
Another Bad Creation was an R&B group from Atlanta, Georgia. Formed in 1988, the group consisted of brothers Demetrius and Marliss Pugh (“Red” and “Mark”, respectively), Chris Sellers, David Shelton, and Romell “RoRo” Chapman, as well as unofficial member Adrian “G.A.” (General Austin) Witcher.
Discovered by Michael Bivins (New Edition, Bell Biv DeVoe), their debut album Coolin' at the Playground Ya Know! was released in 1991. The album’s biggest singles were “Iesha” and “Playground”. Other singles released from the album were “Jealous Girl” (a cover of the New Edition song) and “My World”. The album was eventually certified platinum and reached #7 on the Billboard 200.
Their sophomore effort, “It Ain’t What U Wear, It’s How U Play It” (a shot at rival group Kris Kross, who dissed them prior by calling them “another bad little fad”, for their wearing clothes backwards) was released in 1993. Two singles were “I Don’t Wanna Be Grown Up” and “Where’s Ya Little Sista?”. Neither the album itself nor its singles charted on any Billboard chart, and the group ended up disbanding in 1994.
