Axl Rich (Chris Richardson-Ragland, 27) formerly known as Chris Rich, was born in Louisville, Kentucky. Axl Rich is a singer, songwriter, producer, and rapper. Axl’s first mixtape was “Heart of the Citi” (2012) as a member of the group Lost Citi. Axl’s first solo mixtape “Stay Gold” originally scheduled for release in September of 2013 was pushed back due to “creative changes” and most notably – due to joining forces with the Atlanta-based production syndicate Genius Klub.

With over 20,000 downloads in the first month after it’s release, StayGOLD has gained heavy momentum as an artist, with a vast array of songwriting styles and production textures. An excellent lyricist – while a polished tenor – Axl is staking his claim as arguably one of the most dynamic rising talents in music. As a producer and songwriter, Axl is known for experimenting and blending various genres. Axl has produced for various artists over the course of his career. Collaborating and/or doing studio work with artists such as Yo Gotti, Charlie Grams, Pleasure P, Rich Boy, Seth Firkins (engineer behind Future and many others), Shawty Redd – who is also one of Rich’s primary mentors, as well as Kalenna Harper of Love & Hip Hop Atlanta and Diddy Dirty Money.

With the release of his single “Roni” and follow up single “ When You’re Done” Axl is scheduled to headline a 12 city tour Summer of 2017, along with his FiftyDeuceSound Ent. business partner and childhood friend A Lee the Prospect. – D. Bradford
