Musician, actress, and chainsaw-wielding wood-carver, Cherie Currie is perhaps best known for her role in legendary all-girl rock band, The Runaways, where she provided lead vocals and played keyboards.
After her departure from The Runaways in 1977, she released a solo album in 1978 called Beauty’s Only Skin Deep.
in 1980, Currie and her identical twin sister, Marie Currie started a musical duo named Cherie and Marie Currie. They released a single album, Messin' with the Boys before quickly dissolving.
