Crooked Still is an American Progressive Bluegrass band consisting of vocalist Aoife O'Donovan, banjo player Gregory Liszt, bassist Corey DiMario, cellist Tristan Clarridge, and fiddler Brittany Haas.
Crooked Still was formed in 2001 by O'Donovan, DiMario, Liszt, and former cellist Rushad Eggleston, all of whom were students at various universities in Boston, Massachusetts. While the members finished school, the group played various Boston venues, growing in popularity and collecting favorable reviews from the local press.
In the fall of 2007, after the release of Hop High, Rushad Eggleston parted ways with the band. Clarridge and Haas joined in early 2008 and the band subsequently released three more albums: Still Crooked in 2008, a live album (titled “Live”) in 2009, and Some Strange Country in 2010.
