Brenda Webb, Brenda Gail Webb
Brenda Gail Webb, better known as Crystal Gayle, was born in Paintsville, Kentucky on January 9, 1951. She was the youngest child born to Theodore Melvin “Ted” and Clara Marie “Clary” Ramey Webb. Her father passed away when Crystal was only 8 years old. She has seven brothers and sisters: 1) Melvin Webb, Jr. (1929-1993) 2) Loretta Lynn (1932) 3) Herman (1934) 4) Jay Lee (1937-1996) 5) Donald (1943) 6) Peggy Sue (1947) & 7) Betty Ruth (1949). Crystal married Bill Gatzimos in 1970 and they have two children, a daughter Catherine Clare and a son, Christos James. The singer, actress, producer, and songwriter is known for her long hair, which reaches her ankles and for songs such as “Don’t It Make My Brown Eyes Blue”, “Talking in Your Sleep”, and the theme song to soap opera Another World, “Another World” with Gary Morris.
