Aimee Anne Duffy (born June 23, 1984) is a Welsh singer, songwriter, originally born in Bangor, Wales, she was introduced to Jeannette Lee of Rough Trade Records, which then led her to signing a recording contract in 2007.
On March 3, 2008, Duffy released her debut album Rockferry, which included her international breakthrough singles Mercy and Warwick Avenue. Rockferry was the world’s fourth best-selling album in 2008 via the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry.
Two years after the success of Rockferry, her second album Endlessly was released.
