Gaby Duran is a multi-disciplined musician, singer, and songwriter hailing from Miami, Florida. Born in New York City to Dominican parents, her inspirational palate treads the gamut from Juan Luis Guerra to Stevie Wonder, to Sade and the whole of Hip Hop music & culture. She got her start in school choirs and bands, eventually leading to her study at Berklee College of Music. No stranger to experimentation, she turned her attention toward the schoolhouse of self-discovery through trial & error and collaboration with friends, peers and mentors alike, perfecting her signature Future Soul sound on which her Afro-Latinidad and Caribbean background leave a distinct fingerprint. An instinctive wanderer, she now resides in Los Angeles, co-working alongside Chuck Inglish (The Cool Kids) and TiRon (TiRon & Ayomari)– thus giving shape to her 3-song capsule, Triangles. This offering marks her formal introduction as a rising supernova ahead of her full-length album, Gold&Lady.
