Iyanya Onoyom Mbuk, commonly known by his mononym Iyanya, is a multi award-winning Nigerian recording artist and performer.
He is best known for winning the first Season of MTN Project Fame West Africa, 2008 as well as for his first hit-single “Kukere”. He co-owns Made Men Music Group (Triple MG), a record label home to artists such as Tekno, Sele Bobo and Baci. Iyanya sings in English and Efik
He was born on Palm Street in Calabar, Cross River State, Nigeria. He sang in his church’s choir and was the choir master for the children’s choir at age 5.
