Kim Seokjin, Kim Seokjin (BTS), Jin (진)
Kim Seokjin (김석진), known by his stage name, Jin (진), was born on December 4, 1992, in Gyeonggi-do, South Korea. He’s a vocalist, songwriter and the oldest member of the popular South-Korean group BTS.
Jin joined BigHit Entertainment in 2011. He was approached by a talent scout shortly after completing orientation at university where he planned to study acting. He officially debuted with BTS in 2013.
In 2017 Jin graduated Konkuk University in Seoul with a bachelor’s degree in Film. Shaortly after, he enrolled in the graduate studies program at Hanyang Cyber University.
