Meat Loaf
Meat Loaf
Meat Loaf (Marvin Lee Aday) is a rock artist from Texas. He is perhaps best known for his iconic sophomore album Bat Out Of Hell from 1977 and its successors. While Meat Loaf is known to have others such as the likes of Jim Steinman write and compose his songs, his powerful voice and performances have given him a renowned and reputable recognition.
During the mid to late 1980s, he quickly fell into obscurity after a series of albums which resulted in commercial and critical failure. However, in following and recent years, he has released more well-received material, as well as become a popular concert attraction.
Asides his music career, Meat Loaf has also found moderate success in his acting career. Some of his most notable appearances in film include Tenacious D and The Pick Of Destiny, The Rocky Horror Picture Show and Wayne’s World.
