Nicole Mary Kidman, AC is an Australian actress and film producer. Born in Honolulu, Hawaii on 1967, and raised in Sydney, NSW, she begun her acting career at the age of 16, and six years later had a breakthrough with 1989’s Dead Calm.
Along with high-profile roles, she became well-known through her marriage with Tom Cruise (who she divorced in 2001). Acclaimed for both beauty and talent, Kidman won an Academy Award for Best Actress playing Virginia Woolf in The Hours (2002), and was also nominated for Moulin Rouge! (2001) and Rabbit Hole (2010)*. She’s married since 2006 to country music star Keith Urban.
