In 1998, Paula released her follow-up single, “Extra, Extra,” produced by DJ Premier from her debut LP titled Tales From Fort Knox, the project pays homage to her birthplace and stomping ground Fort Greene, Brooklyn. She did not let that deter her and continued to strive to create music for avid hip-hop heads. She released a couple of independent mixtapes of her own. My Way released in June 2009 and Godmommy, released the following month of the same year. Take Another Shot At It, which was later released in July of 2012.
