Snoh Nowrozi (born 13 September 1987), better known by her stage name Snoh Aalegra (born Shahrzad Fooladi), is a Swedish R&B singer-songwriter. She was born in Uppsala, Sweden to Persian parents from Iran, and grew up in Enköping, Sweden.

Exposure to artists such as Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder, Whitney Houston, Aretha Franklin, Prince, and Lauryn Hill led her to write her first song at nine years old. The now LA based artist has collaborated with Common, Vince Staples, No I.D. and had the distinction of being sampled on Drake’s “Do Not Disturb”.
