Genesis Yasmine Mohanraj, better known by her stage name Tommy Genesis, is a Canadian rapper, model and visual artist from Vancouver. She is half-Swedish and half-Tamil. She graduated from the Emily Carr University of Art and Design where she studied film and sculpture.
In 2015, she rose to prominence when she started working with Atlanta-based collective Awful Records. In 2017 she signed with Downtown Records/Interscope Records.
Her self-titled debut album was released in late 2018, followed by a world-wide tour.
