Willie Jones (born September 23, 1994) is a Nashville, TN based country artist originally from Shreveport, LA. Jones came to prominence after competing on The X Factor in 2012, where he wowed the audience and judges panel with his rendition of Josh Turner’s “Your Man”. His performance at his initial audition left Simon Cowell saying he “would never forget the day he heard Willie Jones for the first time”. After leaving the show following the first round of live performances, Jones joined the MAGCON social media influencer tour that also featured Shawn Mendes, Nash Grier, and Cameron Dallas as part of the tour’s musical lineup. He continued to tour with the group off-and-on for about two years.
Jones released “Slow it Down” independently in August 2015 before signing with 4 SOUND/Empire. His first release on the label, “Runs In Our Blood”, came on May 18, 2018, followed by his debut EP Road Waves on August 3 of that year.
