[Intro: Kiely & Nas]
I'm getting little tired of your broken promises, promises
Looking at your pager seeing different numbers and numbers
For all my underground DJ's (Make 'em, make 'em clap to this)
Thank you for your support

[Verse 1: Nas]
Every day she walk by see me on the same block, same crew
Like she never seen rocks, chain, watch rings blue
Different color boots on, park your car
Few predicates, ex-con, rip arms, betting chips
Puff medicine, play my gangster beats
Tunnel bangers Flex and Clue tapes bang in the streets
I'm just a fly thuggish baller, shortie anxious to meet
Till I die keep wanting head, mink to the feet
But shortie jail bait might get me five to life
Maybe in time, you can be Nas' wife
Playschool, study law, I'm a pay your tuition
Come on campus, buy your books, do your baby-sitting
My unusual style may confuse you awhile
When you get older, I'm a bless you with a child
See now you was unaware that this thug had affection
Let me be your angel and I'll be your protection

[Chorus]
You say that you will and then you won't
Sometimes you do, sometimes you don't
Sometimes it's yes, other times it's no
But I can't take it no more
Take it wrong and make it right
Don't say you can't make up your mind
This is we is or is we ain't
Cause I can't take it no more

[Post-Chorus: Naturi]
(Make 'em, make 'em clap to this) Make 'em, make 'em clap to this
(Make 'em, make 'em clap to this) Make 'em, make 'em clap to this
(Make 'em, make 'em clap, make 'em, make 'em clap)
(Make 'em, make 'em clap to this, make 'em, make 'em clap to this)

[Verse 2: Kiely]
Baby, baby, you keep
Putting things before me
But I was there for you
When you had nothing
So baby, baby, basically
Examine you, examine me
Now or never
Give me all or nothing

[Chorus]
You say that you will and then you won't
Sometimes you do, sometimes you don't
Sometimes it's yes, other times it's no
But I can't take it no more
Take it wrong and make it right
Don't say you can't make up your mind
This is we is or is we ain't
Cause I can't take it no more

[Post-Chorus: Naturi]
(Make 'em, make 'em clap to this) Make 'em, make 'em clap to this
(Make 'em, make 'em clap to this) Make 'em, make 'em clap to this
(Make 'em, make 'em clap, make 'em, make 'em clap)
(Make 'em, make 'em clap to this, make 'em, make 'em clap to this)

[Verse 3: Adrienne]
Baby, baby, you keep
Telling me your changing
You promised you will be
A better man
But no soon as you
See your peeps
There you go switching up on me
We're back at square one again

[Verse 4: Nas]
Y'all three can’t get with me, y'all just a child, child
Maybe I can let you meet Sammie and Bow Wow
Please, girls, try to understand me now, now
Like my little sisters, I'm a hold you down, down
Got the whole world in your hands
Three Little Women got these young boys tryna be their man
Do your thing shortie, but if they get disrespectful
Get on your cell phone, call big brother Esco, now let's go

[Bridge]
It's all this back and forth
In and out, ups and downs
It's beginning
To wear me out
So you gotta tell me now
Tell me now, don't wait till then
It's either me or your friends
Yeah, yeah, yeah

[Break: Nas]

Sometimes it's yes, other times it's no (Woah-woah-woah)
But I can't take it no more
Take it wrong and make it right (Yeah)
Don't say you can't make up your mind
This is we is or is we ain't
Cause I can't take it no more (Take it no more)

3LW

3LW (initialism of “3 Little Women”) was an American girl group that consisted of members Adrienne Bailon, Kiely Williams, and Naturi Naughton.

The group began in 1999 and released their debut single in 2000 called “No More (Baby I'ma Do Right)”. It was a success, becoming the group’s staple song and reaching the top thirty on the Billboard Hot 100. Their debut album 3LW was released that year and is certified platinum by the RIAA.

In 2002, 3LW released their comeback single “I Do (Wanna Get Close To You)”. In August that year, Naturi Naughton left the group due to conflict with the group and management. They released their second album A Girl Can Mack that year in October. The loss of Naughton greatly affected the group in terms of sales and popularity as their other singles (such as “Neva Get Enuf”) under performed. Their third album Naughty or Nice was released in the US in December. Jessica Benson would replace Naughton in 2003.
