I haven't written a report in three days. I assumed it would only take my boss a day to notice, I assumed there would be repercussions. But three days. Nothing. I eat at my desk. This half a bagel is from yesterday, no one cares. When I started as a temp I didn't expect to be here two years. My African violet is dead. I didn't water it, on purpose. I had this dream last night, where my Dad had just died and in the dream I was at the funeral, but remembering about this other time when I saw him helping a beached dolphin back out to sea. That really happened. The dolphin thing, I mean. He's still alive. OK, updated budget projections for the fiscal years twenty-fourteen to twenty-twenty-four. Let's bring this to Johnson
What are they doing out there? On the lawn? What is that, a vending machine? Oh, huh. I think it's a sculpture. They're putting up a sculpture. On the lawn of the office park, next to the food trucks. Abstract, though none of it's going to be appreciated. Gotta take a closer look at this. After work, I've already had my lunch break. And I have to turn in this report, and be here for follow-up
