Born in Belleville, Illinois, AJ Mitchell is a 17 year old singer-songwriter who rose to fame because of many short covers he posted on his Instagram page.

After being discovered for his songwriting and incredible vocals on Instagram, AJ moved to Los Angeles in 2016 to pursue his career as a recording artist and songwriter. In 2017 he released his debut single “Used to Be”, which became a viral hit and gained over 1.5 million streams in just over 2 weeks.

Since then, he has released two more singles “Somebody” and “Mind” which also gained him some recognition on the internet.
