[Intro]
I keep losing my socks
Where the hell do they go?
I bet they're finally free
Floating somewhere in the sea
Do they miss my feet?

[Verse 1]
I keep losing my socks
I got nothing to wear
I bet they're at her place
A house where I can't show my face
How I wanna be there

[Chorus]
Holy moly, it's a real do-nothing day
I could change address and try another state
I could change my name, it won't do anything
Adventure is out there
Adventure is out there
So why am I in hеre
So why am I in here today?

[Verse 2]
Think I'm losing my mind
How pathеtic and tired
Think where they could be
Some hotel in Germany
Hope they're loving the ride

[Chorus]
Holy moly, it's a real do-nothing day
I could change address and try another state
I could change my name, it won't do anything
Adventure is out there
Adventure is out there
So why am I in here
So why am I in here today?

[Verse 3]
I bought me some new socks
I won't lose them I'm sure
And someday hopefully
I'll slip away and they'll lose me
And I'll be seeing the world

[Chorus]
Holy moly, it's a real do-nothing day
I could change address and try another state
I could change my name, it won't do anything
Adventure is out there
Adventure is out there
So why am I in here
So why am I in here today?

[End]
Why am I in here today?
Why am I in here today?

AJR

The indie-pop band AJR—three brothers born and raised in New York City—achieved a startlingly quick level of success with 2013 track “I’m Ready", a buoyant electro-pop smash that was featured in the trailer for Amy Schumer’s Trainwreck and became certified US Platinum in 2015.

Adam Met (bass/vocals), is the oldest brother, a Columbia University graduate. Ryan Met (ukulele/piano/vocals), a bespectacled ‘94 kid is the band’s main songwriter, also having co-written Andy Grammer hits “Back Home” and the certified gold “Good To Be Alive”. Jack Met (vocals/guitar), is the lead vocalist who splits time between the band and attending Columbia.

AJR began in 2005, busking on the streets and in the parks of New York. Raised on vinyls from the 50s and 60s, AJR was initially inspired by the likes of The Beach Boys and Frankie Valli, but the original sound they’ve now created resembles a modern mix of those classic sounds, with flavors of Imagine Dragons, fun., and hip-hop production elements pointing towards Kanye West.
