[Intro]
You're love ain't enough, ow
You're just a party, party, party boy, yeah
Oh baby
You're just a party, party, party boy

[Verse 1]
From the moment I walked in your life
I knew right then it was a serious thing for you
I got a kick out of your party friends
After a while I found a holiday overdue
Whoa, completely away from you
Oh baby, your love ain't enough, ow

[Chorus]
Party boy, you're just a party boy
Ain't no time for sleeping 'cause you're misbehaving
Party boy, you're just a party boy
Wake up soon and open your eyes
The time has come to see the light

[Verse 2]
It took me long enough to realize
That all you give me is a really big broken heart
And I remember how it used to be
There was a time when we could never be torn apart
And now I wish that we could make a start
You know I gave you all my love, ow

[Chorus]
Party boy, you're just a party boy
Ain't no time for sleeping 'cause you're misbehaving
Party boy, you're just a party boy
Wake up soon and open your eyes
The time has come to see the light

[Verse 3]
This world of yours turning upside down
Going up and down like a merry-go-round
A rumor going on right across the town
Why can't you see it?

I gave you love like you never knew
And you're giving me nothing but an attitude
And now I'm going to give a bit of solitude
I'll miss you baby, oh
Misbehaving, now I'll miss you

[Bridge]
Ow
You're just a party, party, party boy
Yeah, oh baby
You're just a party, party, party boy
I've got to say to you, so you listen
Hey boy, goodbye

[Chorus]
Party boy, you're just a party boy
Ain't no time for sleeping 'cause you're misbehaving
Party boy, you're just a party boy
Wake up soon and open your eyes
The time has come to see the light

You're just a party boy
Ain't no time for sleeping 'cause you're misbehaving
You're just a party boy
Wake up soon and open your eyes
The time has come to see the light

Just a party, party, party boy, yeah
Bye bye, bye bye
Bye bye, bye bye
Bye bye, bye bye
Bye bye, bye bye

Alanis Morissette

Alanis Nadine Morissette was born on June 1, 1974, in Ottawa, Canada. At age 6, she began taking piano lessons, and by the time she was 9, she was writing her own songs.

When she was 11, Morissette joined the cast of a Nickelodeon children’s show called You Can’t Do That on Television, and saved up her earnings. In 1987, she used them to self-release her first track, “Fate Stay With Me.” The song caught the attention of record label MCA Canada; at age 14, Morissette signed a contract with the company. She released a self-titled album, Alanis, in 1991, which went platinum. Quickly following up the success of her first album, Morissette released Now Is The Time a year later, though it did not reach the same level of popularity.

In 1994 Morissette moved to Los Angeles teamed up with industry veteran Glen Ballard, and she began to approach songwriting more organically.
