Released: July 7, 2008

Producer: Albert Hammond Jr.

[Verse 1]
Inside me there's a sad machine
That wants to stop moving
I disagree for the things you do
You should stop doing, oh

[Chorus]
All the while
All the while

[Bridge]
I want my frustrations
To know that you have always
Found what I was doing
You played a fool

[Verse 2]
Hold my head it's about to fall in
All that is happening
Got what you would have changed in me
If you had it coming, oh

[Chorus]
All the while
All the while

[Bridge]
I want my frustrations
To know that you have always
Found what I was doing
You played a fool
I want my frustrations
To know that you have always
Found what I was doing
You played the fool

Albert Hammond Jr.

Though best known as a guitarist and keyboardist for The Strokes, Hammond has also been performing periodic solo work since his 2006 debut album Yours To Keep.

Still a member of The Strokes despite the controversy surrounding and following their 2013 album Comedown Machine, Hammond began to gain more traction upon releasing his 2013 AHJ – EP under Strokes frontman Julian Casablancas‘ Cult Records Label.

Though still an official part of his bandmate’s label, he released his 2015 album Momentary Masters through Vagrant Records.
