Can't find another one like you

& so we go
Well, can't you see where I have been?
And what you find, find
My true love, what does this mean?

Can't find another one
You are the only one
There are no other ones like you

& as we go
Well, all day long
All through the streets
And as we walk
Walk, walk, walk
I begin to see

Can't get another one
You are the only one
There are no other ones quite like you

Please, I'll stay just for a while
If you and I begin to cry
I'll find it more real
And as we leave, leave
Now I know, I'll take you with me

Another one
You are the only one
Can't get another one
Now you're gone
& now you're gone
& now you're gone
& now you're gone
& now you're gone
& now you're gone

I'm all alone...

Albert Hammond Jr.

Though best known as a guitarist and keyboardist for The Strokes, Hammond has also been performing periodic solo work since his 2006 debut album Yours To Keep.

Still a member of The Strokes despite the controversy surrounding and following their 2013 album Comedown Machine, Hammond began to gain more traction upon releasing his 2013 AHJ – EP under Strokes frontman Julian Casablancas‘ Cult Records Label.

Though still an official part of his bandmate’s label, he released his 2015 album Momentary Masters through Vagrant Records.
