[Verse 1]
Everyday's delight testing their confidence
How they long to drown in a pool of evidence
Life begins to fade, to fade

[Verse 2]
Moments more than life, that's what they're living for
When they wake from bliss they are craving even more
Back to sleep they go, they go

[Chorus]
A smile on their face, no darkness to erase
They sleep with their eyes open, no disgrace
They are funny, funny dreamers
They are funny, funny dreamers

[Verse 3]
Everyday's delight testing my confidence
How I long to drown in a pool of evidence
Life begins to fade, to fade
Back to sleep I go, I go

[Chorus]
A smile on their face, no darkness to erase
They sleep with their eyes open, no disgrace
They are funny, funny dreamers
They are funny, funny dreamers
