Songwriter: Angela Aki

[Verse 1]
Empty spaces here are filled with hungry souls
Looking to pack life's gap and holes
All eyes are on me, I'll do what I do
See if I am heard or understood by a few

[Chorus]
This time it'd be much different
I tell myself each time
But can my voice call the angels
Like your voice calls the angels?

[Verse 2]
Can my words sing to you
Like your words sing to me?
The faith on my shoulders can be too heavy to bear
There's the exit, and I can't run past your empty stares

[Chorus]
This time it'd be much different
I tell myself each time
But can my voice call the angels
Like your voice calls the angels?
Can these words sing to you
Like your words sing to me?

[Bridge]
A full house can seem so empty
When these words just fall apart
I want to be a part
I tell myself each time

[Chorus]
But can my voice call the angels
Like your voice calls the angels?
Can my words sing to you
Like your words sing to me?
