[Verse 1: AJ & All]
The first night that we met
I will never forget
Baby, you were a star (a star)
Oh-oh, from that point in time
It was always you & I shining so beautiful
When we're out with your friends
You treat me like I'm dead
It was like I'm invisible

[Pre-Chorus 1: Nick & All]
(I can't let it go)
That was unforgivable
(I can't let it go)
I just wanna let you know
(I can't let it go)
Situation's unlivable
(I can't let it go)
I can't let it go

[Chorus: All]
So tell me why you say that you love me
When all you ever do girl, is push all my buttons?
You always bring me down in public
When nobody's around, you say that you love me
Make me say, "oh-no", I see you all alone
I'm halfway out the door
Unless you turn around and treat me right

[Verse 2: Brian]
You got me twisted
Oh, you got me twisted
I'm not someone you can't just disrespect
Oh-oh-oh-oh! How would you feel
If you were in my shoes?
Feeling used with a heart bruised

[Pre-Chorus 2: Nick & All]
(I can't let it go)
The situation's critical
(I can't let it go)
Relationship is pitiful
(I can't let it go)
Everything's falling apart
(I can't let it go)
'Cause you're so hypocritical

[Chorus: All, AJ & Brian]
So tell me why you say that you love me
When all you ever do girl, is push all my buttons?
You always bring me down (bring me down)
In public (in public)
When nobody's around, you say that you love me
Make me say, "oh-no", I see you all alone
I'm halfway out the door
Unless you turn around and treat me right (oh!)

[Break]
Y-Y-You're just no good for me
You're no good for me
You're just no good for me
I know you're no good for me

[Bridge: Howie]
You know it's wrong to treat me cold
I have no one to hold
One day I'm gonna say goodbye
What's it gonna be?
'Cause girl, I'm gonna leave
Unless you turn around and treat me right

[Chorus: All, Brian, (AJ), & Nick]
(Hey-hey) So tell me why (tell me why?)
You say that you love me (oh-oh-oh)
When all you ever do girl, is push all my buttons?
You always bring me down in public (in public)
When nobody's around, you say that you love me
Make me say, "oh-no", I see you all alone
I'm halfway out the door
Unless you turn around and treat me right (treat me right)
I see you all alone (alone)
I'm halfway out the door (the door)
Unless you turn around and treat me right

[Interlude: Howie, AJ & Brian]
Just treat me right (oh!)
Just treat me right
(You say that you want me)
Just treat me right (oh-oh-oh)
Just treat me right

[Chorus: All, Brian, (AJ) & Nick]
So tell me why you say that you love me
(Oh, hey-hey, yeah!)
When all you ever do girl, is push all my buttons?
You always bring me down in public (in public)
When nobody's around, you say that you love me
Make me say, "oh-no", I see you all alone
I'm halfway out the door (oh-oh-oh)
Unless you turn around (no) and treat me right (treat me right)
I see you all alone (yeah-yeah-yeah)
I'm halfway out the door
Unless you turn around and treat me right

Backstreet Boys

The Backstreet Boys are the most successful boy band in history, having sold over 130 million records worldwide, and with their first nine albums reaching the top 10 on the Billboard 200. Florida natives A. J. McLean, Howie Dorough, and Nick Carter, along with Kentucky transplant Kevin Richardson, were joined in a band once they attended Lou Pearlman’s auditions for a vocal group in 1992, with the group being completed by Kevin’s cousin Brian Litrell. Once took under the wing of Swedish producer Max Martin in 1995, the stage was set for global domination, attracting the lust of women and the anger of men. While the fad died down and Kevin even left for a while, the band never officially took a break or such.
