[Verse 1]
Last night a little dancer, came dancin' through my door
Last night a little angel, came pumping on my floor
She said come on baby, I've got a license for love
And if it expires, pray help from above, because

[Chorus]
In the midnight hour, she cried more, more, more
With a rebel yell she cried more, more, more
In the midnight hour babe more, more, more
With a rebel yell she cried more, more, more
More, more, more!

[Verse 2]
She don't like slavery, she won't sit and beg
But when I'm tired and lonely she gives me head
I said, what sets you free and brought you to me, babe
What sets you free, I need you here by me, because

[Chorus]
In the midnight hour, she cried more, more, more
With a rebel yell she cried more, more, more
In the midnight hour babe more, more, more
With a rebel yell she cried more, more, more

[Verse 3]
He lives in his own heaven
Collects it to go from the seven eleven
Well, he's out all night to collect a fare
Just as long, just as long it don't mess up his hair

[Bridge]
I walked the ward, with you, babe
A thousand times, with you
I dried your tears, of pain, babe
A million times, for you

I'd sell my soul, for you, babe
For money to burn, with you
I'd give you all, and have none, babe
Just to, just to, just to, just to, to have you here by me, because

[Chorus]
In the midnight hour, she cried more, more, more
With a rebel yell she cried more, more, more
In the midnight hour babe more, more, more
With a rebel yell she cried more, more, more
More, more, more!

[Outro]
Ooh yeah, little baby
She want more
Ooh yeah, little angel
She want more

Black Veil Brides

Black Veil Brides (ca. 2006-present) is an American rock band that originally formed in Cincinnati, Ohio, by Andy Biersack. According to bassist Ashley Purdy, Black Veil Brides is a Roman Catholic term to describe a woman who marries into the church and gives up all the pleasures of life to devote her life to God. Purdy explained in an interview that this is “Sorta similar to a rock band where you have to give up many things in pursuit of what you’re passionate about or believe in… It all tends to fit really well for a dark and heavy rock band.”

The band’s lyrics often carry messages aimed at those who feel like outcasts in society. In an interview, Purdy said of the message the band sends to its listeners:

We carry a message of believing in yourself and letting no one tell you otherwise…Anything strange, odd, or unique…we embrace that. So basically standing up for yourself; have fun and live your life how you choose. You only have one life, make the most of it.
