[Verse]
We don't need no truth, got plenty
Now it grows on trees
God, I'm glad it's not a race, I'd lose
There's no saint, and there's no sinner
Done more dirt than me
Another who can do more right than me
I need to find a paradise for me

[Chorus 1]
When we want it, we just ask it
God is ready, but you don’t want it
So they tell me, Heaven's waiting for the sinner
God is ready, when you’re ready

[Bridge]
World keeps turning
Shine your light
Shine, shine

[Refrain 1]
So they tell me, Heaven's waiting for the sinner
God is ready, when you’re ready
Shine

[Chorus 2]
When we want it, we just ask it
God is ready, when you’re ready
But you don’t want it, God is ready
So they tell me, Heaven's waiting for the sinner
God is ready, when you’re ready
Shine, shine

[Refrain 2]
So they tell me, Heaven's waiting for the sinner
God is ready, when you’re ready
Shine, shine, shine
Shine, shine, shine

[Refrain 3]
So they tell me, Heaven's waiting for the sinner
God is ready, when you’re ready
Shine

Bonobo

Hailing from Brighton, Bonobo has been steadily releasing his own blend of downtempo/triphop inspired music since 2000, making a name for himself in the electronic and DJ scene. His success has grown immensely in his almost 20 year career, working with the likes of Erykah Badu, Andreya Triana, and Chet Faker, and becoming a GRAMMY nominated artist.

Originally signed to Tru Thoughts to release his debut album Animal Magic, he then moved to Ninja Tune, becoming one of the main artists on the label.

His next album in 2003, Dial ’M' For Monkey, evolved his downtempo style with more electronic textures, whilst 2006’s Days To Come saw Bonobo make the foray into live instrumentation, featuring strings, saxophones, and vocals from Bajka and Fink.
