[Verse 1]
I, I can't begin to apologize
For all the crazy shit I said last night
There's no happy endin'
I, I never saw it from your side
I might be stubborn and I must be blind
Not to see you for me

[Pre-Chorus]
Oh, and it hurts like hell
I never wanted to be by myself
I try to comeback runnin'
I try to comeback runnin'
I'm tryin' to comeback but its 2 late
Cuz I know that you'd be

[Chorus]
Already gone, you're already gone
Baby, come back, don't turn away, away from me
I want you back but its 2 late
I know you'd be already gone, you're already gone
Baby, come back, don't turn away, away from me
Try to comeback, but its 2 late
You're already gone

[Verse 2]
Why? Why did I take so long to try?
I'd give it all to turn the hands out time
And to the beginnin', oh

[Pre-Chorus + Chorus]

[Bridge]
I wish I could be where you are
Would someday I'll be
I'll be right there back in your arms
Cuz I know that you'd be

[Chorus]

Boyz II Men

Boyz II Men is an R&B vocal quartet from Philadelphia who became the most successful pop group of the 1990s. They’re best known for their passionate ballads, including the number one hits “End of The Road,” “On Bended Knee,” and “I’ll Make Love To You.”

An early version of the group was founded by Nathan Morris in the mid 1980s while attending the Philadelphia High School for the Creative and Performing Arts, where he recruited students Wanya Morris, Shawn Stockman, and Michael McCary. Singer Marc Nelson was also an early member, but left the group before their big break.

The group—who took its name from New Edition’s song “Boys To Men”—was discovered in 1988 after auditioning for New Edition’s Michael Bivins backstage at a concert. Bivins signed the group to his management company and secured them a contract with Motown Records.
