Producer: The Composer Alvin Isaacs

[Verse 1]
So many people want to find it (find it)
Crossing our hearts wishing and hoping
That we see the light without being blinded
So we can discover the missing pieces

[Pre-Chorus]
And when it's all said and done we will know who to love
But for now I'm waiting for you now

[Chorus]
So I stand forever
Waiting for something better
While running from the best looking for the better half
Now and ever
Thinking about now or never
So I take another leap just to meet my better half
I've been waiting, waiting
To run into you
To run to you

[Verse 2]
Lay down your arm and don't try to fight it
We can't let this love keep us divided
’Cause it's too many reasons why we all need it
So when it knocks on our door, just know it's invited

[Pre-Chorus & Chorus]

Boyz II Men

Boyz II Men is an R&B vocal quartet from Philadelphia who became the most successful pop group of the 1990s. They’re best known for their passionate ballads, including the number one hits “End of The Road,” “On Bended Knee,” and “I’ll Make Love To You.”

An early version of the group was founded by Nathan Morris in the mid 1980s while attending the Philadelphia High School for the Creative and Performing Arts, where he recruited students Wanya Morris, Shawn Stockman, and Michael McCary. Singer Marc Nelson was also an early member, but left the group before their big break.

The group—who took its name from New Edition’s song “Boys To Men”—was discovered in 1988 after auditioning for New Edition’s Michael Bivins backstage at a concert. Bivins signed the group to his management company and secured them a contract with Motown Records.
