Listen

Oh, it's been such a long, long time
Looks like I get you off my mind
But I can't
Just the thought of you
(Just the thought of you)
Turns my whole world misty blue

Oh, oh, just the mention of your name (of your name)
Turns a flicker to a flame
Ooh, listen to me, baby
When I think of the things we used to do, oh oh
My whole world turns misty blue (misty blue)

I, oh I should forget you
Hey, heaven knows I've tried (knows I've tried)
When I say, when I say that I'm glad we're through, oh oh
Deep in my heart I know I've lied, I've lied
Ooh (ooh), yeah, (misty blue) misty blue

Oh baby baby, it's been such a long, long time (long time)
Looks like I get you off my mind
But I can't, just the thought of you
(Just the thought of you)
Just thinking about you baby
My whole world turns misty blue (misty blue)
Because of you

I, oh I can't forget you
'Cause you turn my whole world misty blue (misty blue)
Oh my love, you turn my whole world, oh, misty blue
(Misty blue) Misty blue, misty blue

I don't wanna be, no
I don't wanna be alone no more, baby
When you left me, turned my world misty blue (misty blue)
Believe me, no no no no, no
I don't wanna be left here by myself
But when you left me, you turned my whole world misty blue

Boyz II Men

Boyz II Men is an R&B vocal quartet from Philadelphia who became the most successful pop group of the 1990s. They’re best known for their passionate ballads, including the number one hits “End of The Road,” “On Bended Knee,” and “I’ll Make Love To You.”

An early version of the group was founded by Nathan Morris in the mid 1980s while attending the Philadelphia High School for the Creative and Performing Arts, where he recruited students Wanya Morris, Shawn Stockman, and Michael McCary. Singer Marc Nelson was also an early member, but left the group before their big break.

The group—who took its name from New Edition’s song “Boys To Men”—was discovered in 1988 after auditioning for New Edition’s Michael Bivins backstage at a concert. Bivins signed the group to his management company and secured them a contract with Motown Records.
