On the corner of main street
Just tryin' to keep it in line
You say you wanna move on and
You say I'm falling behind

Can you read my mind?
Can you read my mind?

I never really gave up on
Breakin' out of this two-star town
I got the green light
I got a little fight
I'm gonna turn this thing around

Can you read my mind?
Can you read my mind?

The good old days, the honest man;
The restless heart, the Promised Land
A subtle kiss that no one sees;
A broken wrist and a big trapeze

Oh well I don't mind, if you don't
'Cause I don't shine if you don't
Put your back on me, let me make shit back

I never really gave up on-
Ah, I sang the wrong verse, can I carry on? Does anyone mind me just carrying on like that? Live music, what the kids want?
Okay, let's go

It’s funny how you just break down
Waitin' on some sign
I pull up to the front of your driveway
With magic soakin' my spine

Can you read my mind?
Can you read my mind?

The teenage queen, the loaded gun;
The drop dead dream, the Chosen One
A southern drawl, a world unseen;
A city wall and a trampoline

Oh well I don't mind, if you don't
'Cause I don't shine if you don't
Put your back on me
Let me make shit back

Slippin’ in my faith until I fall
You never returned that call
Woman, open the door, don't let it sting
I wanna breathe that fire again

Oh well, I don't mind, if you don't
'Cause I don't shine if you don't
Put your back on me
Can I make shit back

It's the remix to Ignition
Hot and fresh out the kitchen
Mama rollin' that body
Got every man in here wishin'
Sippin' on coke and rum, I'm like so what I'm drunk
It's the freakin' weekend baby
I'm about to have me some fun, yeah

Bounce, bounce, bounce, bounce
Can you read my mind?
R Kelly, babe

Catfish and the Bottlemen

Catfish and the Bottlemen is an alternative band from Llandudno, North Wales, consisting of vocalist Ryan “Van” McCann, guitarist Johnny “Bondy” Bond, bassist Benjamin “Benji” Blakeway, and drummer Robert “Bob” Hall.

The band originally formed in 2007, with McCann and former member William “Billy” Bibby dubbing themselves The Prestige, joined by Benji and original drummer Jon Barr. Barr was replaced by Bob Hall in 2010 and Bibby by Bond in 2014 after the release of UK certified platinum album, The Balcony. In May 2016 they relesed the second album The Ride. Their third album, The Balance was released on Friday 26th April 2019 and was well received among fans. The album peaked at number 2 on the UK charts, and number 9 in Australia, whilst lead single Longshot climbed to number 25 in Britain.

Their strong and definitive rock sound, compared to other British Rock bands such as Oasis, Royal Blood and the Arctic Monkeys solidifies the concept that British Rock isn’t dead; and won’t be for a while.
