Songwriter: Richie Sambora Jon Bon Jovi

[Verse 1]
It's all the same, only the names will change
Everyday it seems we're wasting away
Another place where the faces are so cold
I'd drive all night just to get back home

[Chorus]
I'm a cowboy, on a steel horse I ride
I'm wanted dead or alive
Wanted dead or alive

[Verse 2]
Sometimes I sleep, sometimes it's not for days
And people I meet always go their separate ways
Sometimes you tell the day by the bottle that you drink
And times when you're all alone all you do is think

[Chorus]

Oh and I ride!

[Chorus]

[Verse 3]
And I walk these streets, a loaded six string on my back
I play for keeps, because I might not make it back
I been everywhere, still I'm standing tall
I've seen a million faces and I've rocked them all

[Chorus][x2]
Because I'm a cowboy, on a steel horse I ride
I'm wanted (wanted) dead or alive
Because I'm a cowboy, I got the night on my side
I'm wanted (wanted) dead or alive
And I ride, dead or alive
I still drive, dead or alive
Dead or alive[x4]

Cody Simpson

Cody Simpson is an Australian pop singer who was discovered by producer Shawn Campbell after posting covers to his YouTube channel. He and his family moved to California in 2010, and he released his debut EP the same year.

Prior to releasing a full album, Cody released the Coast To Coast and Preview To Paradise EPs. Some songs from the latter made it onto 2012’s Paradise, his official debut record. The next year, Cody released the similarly-titled Surfers Paradise. Both of the titles, and many of the featured songs, were influenced by Cody’s love of the beach — Cody explained why he loves this atmosphere to a fan on

[There is] a feeling of comfort, satisfaction and contentment. A sense of the familiar. Also a sense of the power that nature provides the artist in a very primitive manner.
