[Verse 1: Daniel Caesar]
Okay, okay, it's 3 A.M., I'm drunk as shit
I'm still in love I call you up sit on this
I know I'm terrible and you don't need all this
But you should love me too, forget these politics
Now in my dreams I'm in the east
Fuck you, I'm Humphrey Bogart
You're Miss Bergman
And life is scored like God is Wolfgang Mozart
Never forget the times we had, those times I'll always cherish
Those times are gone but that's okay cause we'll always have Paris

[Chorus: Daniel Caesar]
We'll always have Paris
We'll always have Paris
We'll always have Paris
We'll always have Paris

[Verse 2: Daniel Caesar]
You must remember this
A kiss is just a kiss
A sigh is just is just a sigh
The fundamental things apply, as time goes by
Woke up in Paris
Now it's occupied
By Nazis and terrorists
It's time that we fly
Back to the motherland
Gestapo have them guns in hand
Back to the motherland
Gestapo have them motherfucking guns in hand

[Chorus: Daniel Caesar]
We'll always have Paris
We'll always have Paris
We'll always have Paris
We'll always have Paris

[Bridge: Daniel Caesar]
We'll always have Paris
Oh, yeah
We'll always have Paris
Ah, yeah

[Verse 3: Sean Leon]
So passive aggressive, always maskin' aggression
I was at your discretion
I send you flowers in hours, been plannin' my hours dressin'
I'm borderline obsessin' how I'm your new obsession
You're in my session, we're blowin' time, and we smoke a session
Your man is never mentioned, although he always textin'
You feel inclined sometimes, but never find the time to text him
I think he got the message, know how your lies affect him
I provide a Paris
Uh, Paris in the morning, for appointments
But that's ordinary, nigga
Hey bae, if you're so bad
Why you be fuckin' all these ordinary niggas?
They tryna hold you back
I'm on a wave, I'm tryna put you on
Yeah, your boy done been on fire
I'm on a wave, I'm tryna put you on
Yeah, Paris

[Outro]
All we ask is that you lead today
Give us love that's true, o' Lord
Trusting as a child

The world has come to understand R&B/Soul music as a multi-faceted genre that transcends soundwaves into the inner core of our existence — a genre that makes listeners feel, rather than just hear. For Toronto native, Ashton Simmonds, who performs under the stage name, Daniel Caesar (born April 5, 1995), the R&B/Soul genre serves as a skeleton to which he builds up with jarring gospel undertones, heart-tugging guitar chords, and soothing harmonious vocals.

His sophomore effort, Praise Break, successfully captured the attention of many major publications and outlets and was ranked 19th in the 20 Best R&B Albums of 2014 by Rolling Stone Magazine. Caesar’s follow-up project, Pilgrim’s Paradise, was met with even greater praise, subsequently capturing the attention of both the Canadian and international music markets.

On August 25, 2017, Daniel released his debut album, Freudian, which followed the release of “We Find Love” and “Blessed,” and contains hit songs, “Best Part” and “Get You.” In 2018, Freudian was nominated for Best R&B Album at the Grammys.
