[Verse 1]
I've never been the type to walk away from fun
I had a dream, I had a dream like everyone
I've seen your smoke and mirrors and dirty smoking guns
It makes me wanna run away into the sun
Into the sun
Into the sun

[Chorus]
Save my soul, save my soul
Save my soul from LA
Save my soul, save my soul
Save my soul from LA
Woo, ooh
Woo, ooh

[Verse 2]
I snapped some photographs and threw them to the sea
Palm trees and party cups all filled with misery
My love is candy red and breaking constantly
My heart is scared to death
Yeah, of the california dream
California dream
California's dream

[Chorus]
Save my soul, save my soul
Save my soul from LA
Save my soul, save my soul
Save my soul from LA
Woo, ooh
Woo, ooh
Save me from LA
Save me from LA
Save my soul, save my soul
Save my soul from LA

[Bridge]
No, I don't wanna lose my mind (ooh)
But if I stay here, I will die
I've seen God on Hollywood and vine
Money passes me everytime

[Chorus]
Save my soul, save my soul
Save my soul from LA
Save my soul, save my soul
Take me far away
Save my soul, save my soul
Save my soul from LA
Save my soul, save my soul
Save my soul from LA
Save me from LA
Save me from LA
Save my soul, save my soul
Save my soul from LA
Woo, ooh
Woo, ooh
Woo, ooh
Save me from LA (Woo, ooh)
Save me from LA

Fefe Dobson

Felicia Lily Dobson is a Canadian singer and songwriter. She was born on February 28, 1985, in Scarborough, Ontario, Canada. As a teenager, she was recording demo tapes to many American record labels. By the time Dobson was 18, the president of Universal Music Canada, Randy Lennox, showed interest in her, and asked her to audition for Island Records.

In late 2003, Fefe Dobson released her self-titled debut album, Fefe Dobson, at 18 years old. The album peaked at #67 on the Billboard 200 chart, #1 on the Billboard Top Heatseekers Albums chart, and #26 on the Canadian Albums chart. She was also an opening act for Justin Timberlake on the European leg of his Justified World Tour.

Her sophomore album, Sunday Love, was set for a September 20, 2005 release, however, the album was cancelled for unknown reasons. During the album’s shelving, Fefe Dobson was dropped from her record label at the time. Dobson eventually released the album independently in 2006, and was later released for digital download in late 2012, as her third studio album.
