[Intro]
Yeah, uh-uh, uh
Look
Paradise, Paradise
Escapades, shit
Look, uh

[Verse]
I'm just an old-ass, young nigga
A smart-ass, dumb nigga
A brand new nigga, but I still know where I'm from
I just been bangin' my drum
Bangin' your chick 'til she cum
And I go, and she come again, but I'm on the run
I'm just an insane, sane nigga
An untamed, tamed nigga
My membrane tainted, my pen pad painted with pain
Point-blank range, aim at your brain, bang! I'm angry
Drinkin' Jamie, I'm just like you but we ain't the same
Twenty-some', Kurt Cobain inside the game
Swerve a change inside your lane
Heard them people want me dead
So get in line and file your claim
State your gang and state your name
We exchangin' hate for hate
You take a shot, I take a shot, my .38 like eight for eight
So what's the play-by-play?
'Cause day by day we set the pace
Feel like Tay, we do the race, but no, this ain’t a game
So make my day, so make my day
So make my day, so make my day
Nigga, you faded, run my fade
Nigga, you crazy, gun my waist
Look at you wasted, stay in your place
Fuck all the fakin', we makin' it shake
I'm from the A, so we bakin' and takin' a nigga cake
Play state, milk shake, red drink, I ain't sayin' it
Just to be sayin' it, comin' back for what they taken for granted
And for what the people took from granddaddy
Kinda shockin', because damn it was steady

[Outro]
Wait, wait
Throw your hands in the air and just wave
Wave your guns in the air, brush the waves in your fade, wait
Wave at a pretty lady (If you...say)
Wait, wait
Throw your hands in the air and just wave
Wave your guns in the air, brush the waves in your fade, wait
Wave at a pretty lady (If you...say)

J.I.D

Destin Choice Route (b. October 31, 1990), better known by the stage name J.I.D, is an American rapper from Zone 6, Atlanta, Georgia. He describes himself as “a soft-spoken but intricate lyricist with a cocky side.” His stage name originates from “jittery,” his grandmother’s nickname for him due to his sporadic behavior as a child.

J.I.D began attending Hampton University on a football scholarship in the fall of 2008. At that time, he was nicknamed ‘Jidd’ and released music under multiple variations of that name. His first mixtape, CakeWalk, was released in May 2010 and featured a number of friends from Hampton. The tape also marked two of his earliest collaborations with EARTHGANG. He released his second mixtape, CakeWalk 2, in June 2011. J.I.D was expelled from Hampton at some point during his senior year. Route of Evil was released in June 2012 as J.I.D’s third mixtape. DJ Tay James, Justin Bieber’s official DJ, hosted each of these three mixtapes. J.I.D does not publicly acknowledge any of these tapes, and they are not easily discoverable on the internet.

In October 2013, J.I.D released Para Tu, his fourth mixtape. Around this time, he also officially created the Spillage Village collective with EARTHGANG, Hollywood JB, and JordxnBryant. J.I.D re-released Para Tu on SoundCloud in December 2017 after fans had discovered it and were posting it online.
