All the chronic in the world couldn't even mess with you
You're the ultimate high

[Verse 1: K-Ci]
Take my money
My house and my cars
For one hit of you
You can have it all, baby baby
'Cause makin' love
Every time we do
Girl, it's worse than drugs
'Cause I'm an addict of you
And you know that I...

[Chorus: Jodeci + (K-Ci ad-libs)]
I can't leave you alone
You got me feenin'
Feenin', you got me feenin', feenin'
(Got me going crazy)
I can't leave you alone
You got me feenin'
Girl, I'm feenin' for you
(Said I'm feenin' for you)

[Verse 2: JoJo]
I don't have a mind
It's all blown on you, baby
Girl, I'm so strung out
All I do is wish for you
So tomorrow if you're not here
Then girl I'm down
So I need you near
I just wanna make it through the night
So hold me tight
Then girl I'm alright

[Chorus: Jodeci + (JoJo ad-libs)]
I can't leave you alone
You got me feenin'
Feenin', you got me feenin', feenin'
(Girl you got everything that I need, got everything that I need)
I can't leave you alone
You got me feenin'
Girl, I'm feenin' for you

[Bridge: Jodeci + (K-Ci ad-libs)]
Lady, I'm hooked on you (Girl, I'm hooked on you)
There's nothing else I'd rather do (Nothing else I'd rather do)
Spend my last dime (All of my money)
For a drop of your time (And you know, oh)
Surely, girl, without a doubt (Honey without a doubt)
You know you got me strung out
And I need you more
And more
'Cause you are my joy
(My joy, joy, joy...)

[Chorus: Jodeci + (JoJo ad-libs)]
You got me feenin'
(You got me feenin'; you got me feenin', yes you do)
I can't leave you alone
You got me feenin' (You got me going crazy, baby)
Girl, I'm feenin' for you (You got me going crazy, baby)
I can't leave you alone
You got me feenin' (I said you got me feenin')
Feenin', you got me feenin', feenin'
I can't leave you alone
You got me feenin' (Girl, you got me going crazy)
Girl, I'm feenin' for you (Girl, you got me going crazy, yeah)
I can't leave you alone
You got me feenin' (I said you got me feenin')
Feenin', you got me feenin', feenin'
(I don't know what else to do, no)
I can't leave you alone
You got me feenin'
Girl, I'm feenin' for you
I can't leave you alone
You got me feenin'
Feenin', you got me feenin', feenin'
I can't leave you alone
You got me feenin'
Girl, I'm feenin' for you
I can't leave you alone

Jodeci

Started in 1983, Jodeci is comprised of two sets of brothers—Cedric and Joel Hailey (also known as K-Ci and JoJo) and Donald and Dalvin Degrate (also known as DeVante Swing and Mr. Dalvin). Jodeci were once known as the “bad boys of R&B,” notable particularly because they were actually boys at the time, breaking out as teenagers in 1991 with their debut album and its title ballad, “Forever My Lady.” Natives of North Carolina, they were discovered by Heavy D, who overheard their demo when an A&R at Uptown was in the process of passing on them. Heavy D introduced Jodeci to Uptown founder Andre Harrell, who signed them after they sang in his office, and handed them off to his then-protégé Puff Daddy, who outfitted the group in dark shades and coordinating leather ensembles. The look, along with the streetwise soul found in songs like “Cry 4 U” and “Feenin” (as well as a few run-ins with the law) made them the antithesis to good-guy personas of then-peaking R&B superstars Boyz II Men. Devante, who along with Mr. Dalvin held down production duties for the group, founded the Swing Mob, a collective responsible for the discovery of musical geniuses like Timbaland, Missy Elliott, and Static Major. As a group, Jodeci would go on to release three critically-acclaimed album in the ‘90s, before disappearing from the limelight. K-Ci and JoJo splintered off as a duo in 1997, producing hit single “All My Life” and, eventually, five albums, but adoring fans never let go of their Jodeci obsession. In March, the group released The Past, The Present, The Future, the first Jodeci album in two decades. Jodeci, if y'all reading this, where’d you go?
