Producer: Joji

[Intro: Joji]
Searching for a reason why, oh
Searching where the leaves don't grow, grow, grow

[Verse: Joji]
Yo
The pitter-patter gave a rather rinse and lather feeling
As opposed to shitty attitudes that made me bitter after laughter
And I deeply regretted it
I take the D train to go to BK
I can't defeat rain

[Hook: Joji & Ariana Grande]
And as far as we go
And as far as we go
And how little we know
And how little we know
Searching for the weekend love
Searching where the leaves don't fall
When the land is widow (Oh)
Fall to the ground

[Refrain: Joji & Ariana Grande]
Speak to me (Oh, oh, oh, god, oh)
Speak to me (Oh, oh, oh, god, oh)
Speak to me (Oh, oh, oh, god, oh)
Speak to me (Oh, oh, oh, god, oh)
Speak to me
So bright
Speak to me
So bright

[Hook: Joji & Ariana Grande]
And as far as we go (Oh, oh, oh, god, oh)
And as far as we go (Oh, oh, oh, god, oh)
When the land is widow (So)
Fall to the ground (So bright)

[Refrain: Joji, Ariana Grande]
Speak to me (Oh, oh, oh, god, oh)
(So bright)
Speak to me (Oh, oh, oh, god, oh)
So bright
Speak to me (Oh, oh, oh, god, oh)
Speak to me (Oh, oh, oh, god, oh)
So bright
Speak to me (Oh, oh, oh, god, oh)
(Some, some, somebody)
Please don't run away
Speak to me (Oh, oh, oh, god, oh)
(Some, some, somebody)
Please don't run away
Speak to me (Oh, oh, oh, god, oh)
Speak to me (Oh, oh, oh, god, oh)

[Interlude: Ariana Grande]
A true friend of ours was talking on the phone

[Outro: Joji]
Please don't run away
Oh, please don't run away
Please don't run away
Oh, please don't run away

Joji

George Kusunoki Miller ( ジョージ・ミラー, born September 18th, 1992), commonly known as Joji, is a New-York based producer and singer signed to 88rising. His artist name comes from the Japanese pronunciation of “George”, as he is half Australian/Japanese.

Originally producing comedy skits on YouTube under the name DizastaMusic, his first break came when he uploaded this video in 2011. This was the origin of his bizarre, inappropriate, YouTube community guideline-bending persona known as Filthy Frank, through which he gained internet prominence and millions of YouTube subscribers.

His more serious venture into music was compromised as a side-project to his comedy skits, and so he started releasing music under Joji in 2015 on his private SoundCloud page. He explained in a January 2016 Instagram post, he then decided to make his account public and released two singles from his then-upcoming project Chloe Burbank Volume 1: “you suck charlie” and “thom.” While he kept releasing material on his SoundCloud page.
