[Chorus]
See, I was brought up different
Whatever that my pops say, fasho I listened
You said you did dirt, but I can jig it
It don't deserve you, if you wasn't born in it
(??)
I swear we gotta fast forward (Fast forward, fast forward)
(??)
I swear we gotta fast forward (Fast forward, fast forward)

[Pusha T - Verse]
Valentino summers and wave runners
Chains on my niggas like slave runners
Drug Dealers Anonymous
How many Madonna's can that Mazda fit?
My brick talk is more than obvious; it's ominous
Garage is the Phantom; ghouls, ghosts, and goblins
Blonde-mohawk the collection, I'm Dennis Rodman
The money count is the only moment of silence
'Cause hush money balances all this drugs and violence
Hat trick under my mattress, [?] stop still
Has a(n) astеrisk after it
After all, I can make a call
I can baptizе a brick as I wash away my sins like a Catholic
Who the fuck can't master this?
America's nightmares in Flint
Children of a lesser god when your melanin's a got a tint
And I can't even mention what I sipped or what I spent
'Cause my name and 18 wheelers is evident
I put my boos in them Cruise Collections
Life's a bitch, A-to-Z on her shoe collection
Take your pick; paid in full like 86 G's on my body
The new Gucci has less monogram, God's got 'em
Let he without sin cast the first stone, so I built that all glass quiet-level first home
Shadowed all your misconceptions, hold all them missing weapons
You thought I would miss my blessing
The ultimate mis-direction, yeah!

[Chorus]
See, I was brought up different
Whatever that my pops say, fasho I listened
You said you did dirt, but I can jig it
It don't deserve you, if you wasn't born in it
(HO NIPSLE??)
I swear we gotta fast forward (Fast forward, fast forward)
(HO NIPSLE??)
I swear we gotta fast forward (Fast forward, fast forward)

[Verse]
I can tell you what it is
I can tell you what it isn't
No more K. Dot, my mother had named me Kendrick
Fuck the stage name that-the name that I was given
The only thing that I can identify with within this business
Just a good kid from Compton that wanna rap
Weighin' my options, pick up a bible or a strap
I never killed a man, I never sold any crack
All I ever did was try to keep my city on the map
But, this monkey on my back: y'all don't want me to win
I'm tryna follow dreams, you want me to follow trends
So, just to get a dollar, would I sell my soul?
I look the Devil in the eye, and tell him, "Hell, no"
They say "Anything worth having is worth the wait"
But I want the world tell me how long that takes
It's no time like now
I could cut my patience short or give 'em some more gowns
I don't even want the crown, I just want the peace of mind
And nigga, when I get it, you won't get a piece of mine
Won't you mind your own business!
A rich nigga buy anything you sell 'em
A broke nigga believe anything that you tell 'em
Well, I'm a broke nigga, but still I wouldn't listen to you even if your hand was on a Bible quote, nigga (Tuh!)
